Mercedes by Stephen King since that’s all the rage right now with the new TV series. The main character worked in a hospital er and a homeless man comes in beaten and unresponsive , she soon realizes it’s her first love from when she was younger. I confessed on Facebook: Maryse: Confession: Whenever a beautiful dress is described in a book (especially wedding dresses), I google the intricate details given (material, color etc…) so I can try and “see it”… ) Kathy: Maryse, this was my first book by Jessica Park and I am ashamed to say I have never read Flat Out Love which has been on my Kindle for a couple of years!

My heart needs something gritty but sweet, and that sounds like exactly it. She wrote The Written in Red series, which is much beloved by lots of folks here. I can’t wait to read all the books to see what happens to this girl as she, grows into an adult. Worth the Fall and the others in this series have been wonderful. Buuuuut he doesn’t show and she learns as an adult it’s bc he didn’t want to hold her back so the bulk of the book is told in the past and then the other is told in the present as they fall in love all over again ! Not only are Allison and Esben’s evolution of their relationship so special to read but also the secondary characters of her Adopted Dad Simon and her best friend Steffi make the reader smile and cry. I wasn’t sure I would like it when I started, because it’s not your typical novel, more of a document/file with interviews, emails, maps, etc. Amy: Have I said lately how much I love Tarryn Fisher’s writing? As in love it so much I want to fold it up in neat little square and swallow it (those who read Mud Vein will get that ).

Anywho’s, why did I take so long to start this glorious series?? I just love it when I find a treasure trove of goodness!! Esben is one of the best book boyfriends that I have read. It definitely told a story that pulled me in from the start and I couldn’t put it down.

Julie o: Worth The Fall is one of my all time favorites. Kimberly: I also LOVED LOVED LOVED Claudia Conner’s “Worth the Fall.” I cried. I’m desperately searching for the name of a book I stumbled across through your Facebook page …it was really really good sadly I can’t remember the name ! This is the one closest to the one described in the book I’m reading now… Or the silent calls she’s receiving, or the feeling that someone’s watching her…” (NOTE: bargain priced when I added them, but prices can change on Amazon, so make sure to check before you finalize your order. S., however some of the Amazon UK links also reflect the sale!

It certainly gives more breadth to the term "one night stand," now doesn' it?

No matter how civilized and urbane you may believe you are, there are certain primal urges that you undoubtedly share with your hairy-knuckled ancestors.

Dorie never received the love and affection her heart so deeply craved. As a child did Dorie have any concept of “self-worth”? As a continually rejected child, how could she personally feel any sense of significance . I gave this 5 stars and highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for something a bit different. I’m a huge sci-fi fan so my reaction to it was over the top. Have you ever met a woman you were strangely attracted to but couldn't figure out why? Many of the physical cues we identify as 'sexy' have descended from millions of years of evolution as a part of Nature's way of propagating the species. What happens when you long for your mother’s love, but your sister is the only one loved? Before you were ever born, God established your real worth by creating you! What happens when you long for a gift, but your sister is the only one given a gift?
